Cleveland Clinic’s Eric Weiss, M.D., Wins 2008 Physician of the Year Award

Eric Weiss, M.D., a board-certified colorectal surgeon with Cleveland Clinic in Florida, was named Physician of the Year at the South Florida Business Journal annual Excellence in Health Care awards program. Dr. Weiss was selected for having made a significant impact on the local community and the health care industry through his practice and work in the community.

Dr. Weiss is residency program director for Colon and Rectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic in Florida. He also serves as chairman of Graduate Medical Education and the Designated Institutional Official at Cleveland Clinic.
